We raise Katahdin or Katahdin White Dorper cross sheep both of which are known for finishing on grass, with tender, tasteful and mild lamb meat. Our sheep and their lambs are raised on our Vermont pastures and treated like family. The lambs are slaughtered under strict humane standards in a USDA inspected packing house after which the meat is aged under temperature controlled conditions and is cut to our specifications into lamb chops, roasts, ground lamb, stew meat and other various lamb cuts. The cuts in a box are those from a half of a butchered lamb and weigh 25 lbs. or more. All the meat cuts are vacuum sealed in plastic wrap, labeled with the weight, item description and the USDA inspection seal. We only ship to New England and eastern New York addresses because these are overnight UPS ground routes. The meat is shipped in special insulated boxes and we guarantee satisfaction.
