
Lamb meat can be purchased live, by hanging weight, boxed meat or by the cut at our farm store. Contact us for availability and to place orders or reserve animals.
1. Half a Lamb Boxed Meat. We sell boxes of USDA inspected, shrink wrapped and labeled frozen lamb meat. Each box contains meat cut to lamb chops, roasts, stew, ground meat and other lamb cuts typical of the meat from a full half of a lamb. You get all the meat cuts packed in an insulated box which will include between 15 and 20 lbs. of meat. The boxed meat sells for $9.95/lb picked up at the farm. 2. Whole lambs for processing. The price for lamb carcasses includes delivery of the live lamb to Westminster Meats in Westminster Vermont for butchering. The customer provides the cutting instructions, pays the processing fees and picks up their meat at Westminster Meats. Whole lamb hanging weights run in the 40 to 50 lb. range and are priced $4.95/lb.
3. Individual lamb cuts at our farm store. These are individually priced by the pound. See our farm store retail price sheet for values.
Shipping Lamb. We ship our half lamb box of lamb meat for a flat rate of $35 to addresses in New England and eastern NY only. The frozen lamb is shipped overnight in a insulated box to your residential address. We will notify you when we intend to ship to be sure someone will be available the next day to bring the meat in.
Lamb cooking and recipe information.
A $25 deposit per lamb is required to reserve lambs or meat. Final payment is required when the lamb or meat is shipped or picked up. We take major credit cards or Paypal.
