Lamb Meat

Lamb meat can be purchased live, by hanging weight, boxed meat or by the cut at our farm store. Contact us for availability and to place orders or reserve animals.

1. Half a Lamb Boxed  Meat.  We sell  boxes of USDA inspected, shrink wrapped and labeled  frozen Katahdin lamb meat.  Each  box contains  meat  cut primarily to lamb chops with at least one  roast and some , stew and/or ground meat with some other selected lamb cuts.  You get all the cuts from  one half of a lamb in the meat box which includes between 15 and 20 lbs. of meat. The boxed meat sells for $9.95/lb and can be picked up at the farm or shipped. See shipping provisions below.

2. Live finished lambs for meat. You can choose your lamb when you pick up at the farm. Most lambs should be weigh between 60 and 100 lbs but smaller or larger ones may also be available.   Sold out until later this year.

3. Whole lambs for processing. These are sold by hanging weight which is roughly half the live weight. The customer provides the cutting instructions and pays all the processing fees and picks up their meat at  Westminster MeatsSold out until later this year.

4.  Individual lamb cuts at our farm store. These are individually priced by the pound. See our farm store retail price sheet for values.

Shipping Lamb. We will ship our half lamb box of  lamb meat to addresses in New England and eastern NY.   The lamb is shipped  for a flat rate shipping price of $25 plus a $15 deposit for the insulated box. Credit for the box is available to be applied to future shipped orders for returned boxes in useable condition.

A $25 deposit per lamb is required to reserve  lambs or meat. Final payment is required when the lamb or meat is shipped or picked up. We take major credit cards or Paypal.
